2/10/00 Beautiful sunshine out! Darlin' is working on the JCAD brochure, making room for a new store I'm on my way to sign up! It's Osage River Company Store. They are on Hwy 54 in Osage Beach. Got to meet Sandy the manager and Sandy the owner. Great shop! Every room makes you feel right at home! They have unique items I've never seen anywhere else! Enjoyed a fresh made peanut butter cookie and a glass of ice tea in the tearoom, which even has a nice view of the water. It sure is warming up nicely outside! Got some photo's and lots of information. Back home to get busy! Welcome to JCAD! Randy at Maple Street Emporium just got himself a free month for referring these folks! 2/11/00 How wonderful! We're going to print with our newest JCAD brochure! Thanks so much to Anita's Keepsake Kottage for being one of the sponsors! Our own Compost is the other. Printing in pastel colors for Spring, blue, yellow and green! YES! We're so happy to have new brochures! Don't be surprised, LOOK OUT, we'll be handing one in person to you soon! You never know which way we'll be heading, searching out new back ways across Mid-Missouri in search of that hard to find store! 2/21/00 Got a phone call today, Don at Osage Beach Flea Market has referred us, we went down to visit the owner and signed up a new JCAD member! We've been in this store many times in the last few years. The lady you'll visit with is Lucy and the store is Oak Leaf Gifts. Yes, the page is under development..should be up in a day or two, that's why this link doesn't work, yet. I've never seen so many collections. The Armani statues are stunning, the figurines unique and some are funny. I really like "The Land a Little Left of Reality". I'd love to have a fish walker! How appropriate here at the lake! Really nice day out, got a good update, Darlin' got a camera FULL of pictures! Hope your knee is well, soon, Lucy! We look forward to meeting Carol by e-mail. This shop is open every day! Don't miss it, it's only a half mile down Hwy KK on the right! Be sure to tell 'em JCAD sent ya when you come travel the back way! 2/24/00 Working around Census, 2000 makes our running hard to come by. Squeezing JCAD in whenever we get a chance. Off today towards Richland traveling the back way. On down to the Jct. of Hwy 7 and I-44 to the I-44 Flea Market. Met Mabel and had a great visit. Their store is filling up nicely! Stop by and see these folks. Tell Dean, the owner, you found them in JCAD! Thanks! Passed out JCAD brochures all over Richland, a new flea market coming soon across from Casey's! GREAT! Love to find new stores! On back to Fleas R Us. My goodness, they have been busy! Katherine says they just got done with the booths, now attacking the front displays. You have to come see their store! So many people and animals on display! This store is comfortable in winter or summer! Take care and let me know when you travel the back way. I'm just an e-mail away! Have a safe trip! 02/27/2000 Have to tell you Happy 22nd Anniversary, Darlin'! I've had a GREAT time! Thanks for the goodies and the quote, "Let's do another 22"! Love ya!
